Chef or Head Cook
An experienced Chef or Head Cook manages a busy kitchen environment. The Chef is
responsible for producing foodservice items for a varied daily menu with an orientation
towards health conscious meals.
Our Chef would be responsible for managing a small staff and co-coordinating with
other divisions of a firm that operates a Café, Off-Premises Catering, and Specialty
Food Store. This position involves aspects of purchasing, controlling of costs,
staffing, menu development, and food preparation.
Skills in preparing European Cuisine, tempered with California style, and priority
to healthful menus would be an asset. Training qualifications can be varied, combined
with experience. The position is full time and offers competitive salary and benefits.

Cook
As an assistant to our Head Cook & Chef. We operate with a number of Cook’s Assistants
or Helpers.
These positions can be filled by persons with direct experience, or on the job training
can occur.
This position would involve preparing sauces, salads, soups, desserts and other
products under the supervision of the Chef.The orientation will require the successful
team member to become familiar with a fast paced work environment, such that these
members of our firm’s staff will be able to work on regular menu items, on an independent
basis.

Bakers
We require our bakers be experienced, and familiar with scratch baking of a wide
range of specialty breads, sweets, cakes and other dessert items.
Our Bakers are the core of our bakery, foodservice and retail environment. The positions
involve providing products with no quality compromise, and for which production
is completely done from individual ingredients and in small batches, to ensure customers
receive only the freshest of products.
With more and more people demanding products that cater to highly specific dietary
and allergy concerns, our Bakers must be able to adapt our regular recipes, to meet
specific customer needs.
Successful members of our professional staff will find it necessary for them to
participate in purchasing, production planning and new product development.
These positions are full time, with a work schedule that will require a rotation
of work schedules, through early mornings, late evenings and would require work
availability through each of the 7 days in each week.

Retail Sales Clerks
We require retail sales clerks who are able to function in a fast paced foodservice
and retail environment. The positions would involve providing exceptional customer
service, while ensuring the preparation and supply of quality products.
Experience with basic Point-of-Sale terminals and Computers would be an asset.

Accounting Clerk
As a business that operates extended hours seven days each week, we require administrative
support from staff members who can assist with accounting functions such as Accounts
Payable and Accounts Receivable, as well as providing support during peak periods
with our retail operations.
These positions require a wide range of experience with basic Point-of-Sale terminals,
computers, and especially Windows programs, including Simply Accounting.
