I was there yesterday for the first time in about ten years. I thought that the service was chaotic, the staff was rude, and that it was a hassle for my wife and I to even pay for our meals on one bill. Personally I found the staff to be be quite short with me and a little condescending - and my wife's order was poorly put together. We thought of leaving a complaint, however we really just wanted to eat and leave. We tried our best to laugh of the ordeal, however we won't be back - there is more than one place to get a good sandwich in St. John's. - Stephen, South Dildo

I go to Manna because the food is delicious. I especially like the sandwiches. They are prepared in front of you so you know exactly what you are getting. The staff is welcoming and helpful. The eating area is clean and bright. People who go to Manna enjoy the relaxed atmosphere which makes conversation easy and comfortable. From the moment you enter you are assailed by aromas and you can see the racks of crusty bread hot from the oven on the racks. The baker waves and the Manna experience begins. By the way - - my husband went to Manna for the first time yesterday to have a “sandwich” - - he said it is the best sandwich he has ever had “ever”. We are lovers of the Manna bread and I have had your sandwiches lots of time, this is the first time that he has had a sandwich at Manna - - he couldn’t believe how good it was !!!
